Astronaut Neil Armstrong's parents, Stephen
Koenig Armstrong and Viola Louise Engel Armstrong appeared on 'I've
Got a Secret' and have a secret
that their son, Neil, was just made an astronaut on this day at 3 PM,
September 17, 1962. He was part of The New Nine, the
second group of astronauts selected by NASA.This is
really interesting to hear them talk about Neil Armstrong while
he was still completely unknown.
